This is a great video that was posted on the Channel 19 KYTX that talks about bad grammar and how students are trying to use bad grammar in the classroom and are trying to use it in their essays. People text in acronyms and now people are starting to talk in acronyms and the teenager states that "they sound stupid". The oxford English dictionary has even added the words: Lol, Omg,Tweet, Retweet and even Sext. Ontario Waterloo University in Canada require students to pass and English testing their English language skills and 1/3 are failing and now they are blaming social media. This is a problem that needs to be addressed and we need to communicate affectingly.
