Woman Sues Match.com for $10 Million

This article that I found on nydailynews.com is about a woman names Mary Kay Beckman, who survived an attack by a man who she met on the online dating site, match.com. Beckman met Wade Ridley on September of 2010. They dated for just eight days before Beckman called of the relationship. About four months later Wade broke into Beckman's home and stabbed her with a butcher's knife. When Wade was arrested he said that his intentions weren't to hurt Beckman because he wanted to kill her. Later, Wade confessed to the killing of Anne Simenson, a woman who he also met online. This article really helped my main idea of people creating fake profiles to harm someone.
